"Big portions, definitely left full"
I went to Bella Italia last weekend, and the main thing I remember is just how big the portions were. I had pasta, and the bowl came out properly full, not one of those tiny restaurant servings where you’re wondering if you should’ve ordered more.
I’ll be honest, I’ve already forgotten what everyone else had, but I do remember not being able to finish the garlic bread and taking some home. Always a good sign when you leave full and happy. Easy 5 stars from me.

"Actually got my order right"
Ordered from bellaitalia.co.uk and, from what I remember, everything turned up exactly how I’d chosen it. The extras were right, nothing seemed to be missing, and I don’t recall spotting any wrong items either. that’s the main thing I care about with online food orders, so I was happy with it

"Super easy to get to"
We found Bella Italia really convenient for our plans. It was close to the shops, easy to spot, and saved us from having to stress about where to go for dinner. It just made the whole evening feel a lot more relaxed

"Great place to go with kids"
We went to Bella Italia with our two kids places like this are always so much easier when the staff are relaxed. Ours took forever picking what they wanted, as kids basically always do, but nobody rushed us or made us feel bad about the mess.

The kids menu was decent, and the colouring kept them quiet for ages, which is pretty much a win every single time. Food came out quickly too, and with hungry children that makes all the difference

Had a complaint. thought it would take ages. But nope. They got back to me quick and fixed it without making it a whole thing. Really easy in the end

"Clunky site that really needs fixing"
The website is okay to browse, I guess, but whoever is in charge of it needs to sort it out. Pages loaded way too slowly for me, and the menu feels messy enough that I kept getting annoyed trying to find simple stuff. It shouldn’t be this frustrating to use a basic website.

"Desserts were seriously good"
I really liked the desserts here, especially the tiramisu. It was the kind of thing where you take one bite and immediately want another, like when cake is perfectly soft, coffee flavor actually comes through, the cream isn’t too heavy, and it just feels balanced. it reminded me of those desserts you keep talking about after dinner, like a great cheesecake, warm brownie, crème brûlée, or even just really good ice cream. The tiramisu was definitely the highlight for me.

"Drinks were okay, just okay"
The cocktail was fine, fine enough I guess, but it tasted a little watery for what it cost. Not terrible, just not really worth the price to me.

"Great for allergy worries"
Went to Bella Italia with my daughter, who’s got a nut allergy, and they were really good about it.

The staff actually took the time to check the menu properly and didn’t make us feel like we were being annoying for asking stuff. They even double checked with the kitchen, which was really reassuring.

The food was nice too, and we could actually relax a bit, which isn’t always the case when eating out with allergies. Would definitely go back.

"Friendly staff and a good gut feeling"
We had a really nice meal here, and my first impression was spot on. The staff were warm and easy to chat with without hovering too much, which made us feel welcome right away. The food was good, but the people working there really made the whole experience better. I’d trust my instinct on this one and happily go back again.

"App is a pain to use"
I tried using the Bella Italia app to place an order and it was so annoying. It kept freezing on the menu page, took forever to add anything, and at one point my basket just disappeared. Payment did go through in the end, but it felt like way more effort than just ordering at the till. The food was fine, no complaints there, but whoever runs this app really needs to sort it out

"Refund took longer than it should have"
My food order got cancelled, getting the refund back was more hassle than it needed to be. I had to follow up twice, and the replies were slow, which made it feel like no one was really keeping track of it. The money did come back in the end, but it definitely took a lot longer than I expected.

"Payment worked, just kinda slow"
My card went through fine, so no big issue there. It just took a bit longer than I expected for the confirmation to show up, like I was sitting there wondering if it actually worked or not. In the end it was okay, just a little slow

I went with my partner, and the vegetarian stuff seemed okay, but I don’t know why the vegan options felt so limited. The staff were nice and tried to help, but I still ended up with a boring meal.

"Decent, but it took effort to feel comfortable"
The tables were clean enough, I guess, but the toilets definitely needed more attention. It’s annoying when you have to make the extra effort to find a cleaner stall or avoid certain areas just to feel okay using the restroom

"Delivery took way too long lol"
Ordered from Bella Italia and the food showed up way later than the time they’d given. There wasn’t really any proper update either, so I was just sat there checking the app every few minutes lol. The food was still okay, but it wasn’t that hot by the time it arrived. Bit frustrating when the whole point of ordering is not having to wait ages. I’d probably think twice before ordering again

"Decent pizza, but not as flavorful as others"
The pizza was okay, but it tasted a bit bland to me. Compared to other places I’ve tried, it could’ve used more flavor in the sauce and toppings. Not bad, just didn’t really stand out.
